On Saturday evening, after the festivities, our banquet will be held at the Chamber of Commerce building, just a few steps from the Meriweather Country Inn. This building was built by FDR for his mother as a library. It is a very large room, nicely decorated and will easily seat 80 for dinner. Dinner will be at 6 pm and the Silent Auction will follow, ending around 9 pm. The Chamber will be decorating it early for Christmas for us, so it should be a very festive evening. The Silent Auction will be set up during the banquet, and will allow time for those going to the Bullock House to get in on the bidding.
The Menu is: Lasagna, salad (choice of 3 dressings: ranch, Italian, & thousand island), garlic bread, drinks (they offer sweeten & un-sweeten tea), homemade desserts (choice of 3: icebox coconut cake, Oreo cake, & banana pudding).
The cost of the tickets is $15 per person. You can order on-line using PayPal or send your checks, made out to STCGA...marked dinner, to:
